My name is Beth and I live in North Carolina. If I remember correctly, I was saved by Jesus back in 1998. I'm not one of those people who can remember dates very accurately. There have truly been times when I've forgotten my own birthday.
Sometime around 2004 a friend convinced me to try to learn web design. So I went about trying to find a unique name for it. This wasn't easy as many of the good names were already taken. Bethsobsessions.com was different and I figured it would be easy to remember. I signed up for a domain and hosting plan. Trying to master web languages didn't work out so well as I could only master basic html. The original design also wasn't going to only contain my beliefs. It was going to include other interests and such, but that didn't work out either. I couldn't quite get the design like I wanted it. Over the years I lost interest, but kept the site alive.
Recently God renewed my desire to work on the site again. I played around with a few cms programs and decided to use Concrete5 (which is awesome). Found a theme I liked, and made the decision to dedicate the entire site to God. Hopefully I will remain faithful to Him in regards to content.
Photoshop is another thing that is not easy for me, so I found a header I liked from Google's images. This header belongs to a church at www.myopenroadchurch.com. I haven't figured out how to link the header back to them in Concrete5 yet.
The image of Jesus is inaccurate as He is no longer on the cross, but there has always been something about it that touches me. Can't explain what it is, but I like having it on the site. I've had it for years and it was on the other design, but over time, I've forgotten where I got it from. If it comes back to me, I will definitely give that person or business the credit for it.
This is just a little info on the site.
